Healthcare cost management is in the center of the national debate. The focus of this site is to report on the changes in healthcare funding policy, physician quality measure measurement initiatives and the application of health information technology to solve them and how the EMR industry provides the tools to meet this challenge.

Electronic prescribing and electronic medical records are touted as a the solution to managing healthcare costs and the critical infrastructure required to build new incentives. We will study how electronic health record and physician billing system vendors are provide the tools to efficiently meet the needs of physicians delivering care, providing clinical decision support based on evidence-based guidelines, facilitating access to health information and communication with the entire health care team.
